YOU will learn the skills necessary to achieve the goals that you have with your dog, whether it be how to walk nicely on a leash, not bark at other dogs, or a strong and reliable recall!  FAQs

  • As a trainer, the most important thing to me, first and foremost, is the relationship that I have with your dog. The relationship is the premise for all training, and earning the dogs trust and building up their motivation to work together is my first point of focus. Once we have an established communication system, and the dog understands exactly what I am asking for, then it is important to also hold them accountable.

  • Lessons will be scheduled 1-2 weeks apart, in order to give you adequate time to practice your homework and get enough reps in with your pup, before we go over new information. I have flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

  • Lessons will take place in a variety of places. The first lesson will always take place in your home and from there we will decide between your house, local parks, hiking trails, home depots, etc. depending on what training environment we are looking for.

  • You will receive detailed homework via email following our lesson. Homework will include what commands we are working on, and how to progress each of those between lessons, and how to troubleshoot any problems and set your dog up for success.

“Dogs are most joyful when they get to do the things that fulfil them.”
